The Sas-Tec family of German-made protectors are made using lightweight and resistant termpoplastic material specifically designed to serve as a buffer against hits and impacts. They provide excellent protection, flexibility and comfort. They are European Union – certified.
Outlast
Why Outlast? What in particular about this technology stands out, and elevates it above so many other, less advanced textiles? We think that the best recommendation is the fact, that it was designed and created by NASA to protect their astronauts while in the uter space, where apart from isolating from extremely low temperatures, it was able to provide them safety, good range of movement and protection.
Even though every person reacts to temperature changes individually, the “temperature corridor” of feeling comfortable is narrow. It means that even a deviation of 2°C causes major discomfort, and under prolonged exposure – hyperthermia or hypothermia.
The innovative Outlast Technology actively allows the regulation of body temperature thanks to its ability to store and give away heat with accordance to the needs of human body. The secret of Outlast® lies inside patented microcapsules called Outlast® Thermocules™, that absorb, store and redistribute heat. This way this technology, when applied in clothing is essential to the regulation of body microclimate.
When the body heats up – the heat is being stored, and when temperature drops, the storage is released balancing overall temperature. In this way Outlast® effectively prevents sweating and temperature shifts.
